他們曾經是理所當然的存在，卻隨著歲月更迭成為了記憶裡的一部分。

在全球化的趨勢下，進口大理石材化身為’高貴’的代表，白色大理石更是在生活中捲起一陣炫風，進而出現各式仿石紋素材。

是否還有人知道，在台灣，也有屬於我們獨一無二的玉紋石(蛇紋石)呢？

2019年成立的Verde是⽬前唯一仍持續開採台灣蛇紋石建材的三泰礦業旗下家居品牌，

我們循環利用剩餘板材，透過設計將其製成符合現代家居風格的用品與擺飾，

打破綠色大理石傳統老舊的刻板印象，在日常中重新定義專屬台灣蛇紋石的生活美學。

People who grew up in the eastern part of Taiwan usually had good times in the mountains, at sea, or maybe on the piles of marble stones.

Green serpentine used to be widespread in Taiwan many years ago, on display in a neighbor’s home, placed upon antique furniture at a grandparent’s house,

or even used as stone tables and chairs in the outdoor pavilions. 

They used to be everywhere, but now they only exist in our memories.

As globalization progressed, imported marble became the symbol of luxury, and even imitation marble items have become a trend.

Not many people know, however, that we have our own very unique “serpentine” marble in Taiwan.

 

The founding of Verde in 2019 is an important milestone in the world’s marble market

because we are the first and the only brand that designs and creates items with one specific marble as our main material —Taiwanese Serpentine.
